Default Field recorder workflow question 2

Hi me again,

"Any auto-synced alternate source audio that was
exported from the Avid Bin with the AAF or
OMF appears in the Region List." - pg8

Does this include audio from grouped clips from the avid?

Thanks,
Matt

No. Unfortunately grouped-clips don´t come over. It´s quite a drag but I guess due to limitations of the OMF/AAF format.
You have to conform those either by using expand to track or Titan.

Wow. They are seriously missing a trick there if you ask me!

The problem we are facing is that the methods you describe are no good when the audio is resides on ISIS as MXF media digitised from ISO digibetas!!
