Hmm interesting... starting development on the new version of the Icon?

or maybe developing a line of mid level controllers that are more robust?

interesting play Avid... what are you up to...

We will continue to support and grow the third party relationships with Steinberg, Apogee, Apple and more. We want to make Eucon an open and industry standard for audio and video applications.

Cheers

Is Icon going to be phased out or downsized? Is it anticipated that the the Eucon will replace the Icon as the industry standard?

Will third party controllers from companies like ssl be allowed to support eucon? Since that would make it an "open and industry standard". Or are you just lying cause avid is will ruin everything it touches as usual?

How about you fix a few icon bugs along the way? Since I'm coming up on the 2 year anniversary of my 32 channel d control purchase and the same bugs are still there.

Sounds great Tom, I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. I'm hoping for a new Icon built around a System 5 console. TFT screens that integrate with the Pro Tools timeline, plugins, metering and routing. Maybe put some dedicated DSP on each channel strip? Euphonix EQ and Dynamics built into the board that works along side any plugins for that channel? The ICON is great, but I'm looking forward to a truly game changing large format console built by Euphonix that integrates the ICON right into it.

uno1234 - Could you be more specific about the bugs you are referring to on D-Control? Thanks much.
