Default Dedicated Forum for discussion of Elastic Audio

In response to a request I made, Digitech support has said they would consider setting up a separate forum here just for discussions on issues, questions, tips and tricks relating to the EA feature of PT 7.4 So, as the one making the request, I am asking here that if there are any here that would find it useful to have a dedicated forum just for EA?

Thanks
Donald M

Donald - Please, no cross-posting or multiple postings of the same topic.

I've deleted the other posts and moved this one to General Discussion where it belongs.

Sorry...didn't mean to violate any rules. I was just trying to see who'd be interested.

That's one of the reasons I've requested a dedicated forum. However, if you haven't already, go to the digidesign website and view the web videos on using PT 7.4. It will give you some good basics to get started using this powerful tool. Also, the manual has a chapter on it that at least explains what all the features are and which buttons to click on for what feature.

As powerful and complex as it is, it would be nice to have a full dedicated DVD on it that covers all the aspects and explains it in detail. Additionally, a dedicated forum here would also be helpful.

Everything you need to learn Elastic Audio is in these two video sets.
Howaudio.com - What's new in Pro Tools 7.4

Grooveboxmusic.com - Kenny Gioia's Elastic Time In Action.

I've seen both and they are worth every penny. Consider the subscription option of those sites and get all the videos for 30 days.

I'd heard of Kenny's but not the other one. Thanks for the tip.
