HUI/MCU Mode Question
As I've never used HUI/MCU mode(s) on any of the Artist Series hardware, I wanted to know if you have to open ports for all of the possible tracks you'd end up with in a project, or will those ports switch automatically for the tracks as they do in EUCON?
I hope that's clear. Example: I've got an MC Control and 2 Mix units for a total of 20 Faders. These faders will bank (in 8 track jumps) up and down a 100 track project in Nuendo. Now if I open HUI Ports 1 - 20 to accommodate my 20 Faders, will they bank up and down the 100 track mixer or will I have to open 100 ports in HUI? I know it seems a stupid question. But I've got an app now that will require HUI mode to work and I'm not finding the information I need to know how this will work. Last edited by KeyplayerG; 12-07-2018 at 05:25 AM. |
