pro tools 10 with SHURE USB Mic (Unable to record)

Hello All

I am trying to record vocals using USB Mic and PRO TOOLS 10

Pro tools is recognizing the shure mic as Input and Output .
When I click Record Button on my audio recording I dont see it recording as I cannot see any waves on the pro toools interface (screen shot attached)...
Also I cant hear the audio track in my headphones
Mic is functioning properly as it works on audacity software

Hi and Welcome to the Community

Go to "Settings" in PT and choose "I/O" and press Default on ALL the tabs - IN/OUT/AUX etc and see if you get any sound going for you

How do you have the input and output for the audio track set? For the edit screen select show I/O and take a look there. Just because you have things set in the I/O screen in Settings doesn't mean tracks will automatically get routed that way. Best to check each track goes where you want.
