FYI I've been using PT10 HD latest version with Mavericks all versions for about a year now with no stability or weirdness (other than normal PT weirdness) issues. I work in post sound mixing TV for a large facility in Hollywood as well as from my home based studio. I'm on Mavericks they are still on Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion and there are no compatibility issues. Actually I have to say that PT10 HD has been more stable on Mavericks for me than previous OS's. Shame they won't qualify it as such.

It's might not even be PT that's the hold up. Avid tests all their software on various computer systems and if one piece of any of the s/w fails or has issues then Avid says it's not qualified across the board. So PT might be okay but Media Composer might be the issue; or it could even be the other way around.

RED58, thanks for your post!
I also didn't have any particular issues with Pro tools 10.3.2 and mavericks 10.9.4.

Now there is mavericks 10.9.5 I would like to give a try.
If someone as some comments... regarding 10.9.5

Hi,

How did you get on with PT10 on Mavericks 10.9.5?

I've just ran into a problem with my core 2 duo machine and PT11, seems nothing works on this bloody machine! Need to roll back to PT10 and will hopefully be able to do so without changing my operating system.

Just installed it. The only problem I have is I have to force quit from the Dock as the normal quit process doesn't work right for me.
