Fades
Ok so I just want to do a simple fade in and a fade out. I've Clicked smart tools, but I only have the option to "trim". How do I change that? Can someone walk me through it? I'm in Slip. Automation is orange. There's a midi drum track. Thanks in advance.

Re: Fades
Ok so I guess my problem was: I was trying to fade "audio" tracks And "midi" tracks at the same time. It would make sense that most fading is done after the initial mix/down into stereo, however using a daw as a writing tool as well I think it would seem to be "intuitive" to be able to fade "all" tracks with the smart tool if you wanted to before mastering, but maybe it's not possible. This may be of some help to people still wondering about this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNpBI-11_xQ (midi fading) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg-_e_pT4II (audio track fading) Btw PT 11 fails fading regardless. lol Last edited by 1racerx; 12-31-2016 at 06:43 PM. |
