Default MC Pro, shuttle wheel option to replace a trackball

Does anybody knows if an MC Pro with two trackballs (one on the left and one on the right) can be updated to an MC Pro with one trackball and one shuttle wheel (the one with 4 buttons and a shuttle wheel in the middle)? Do you have any idea of how much it would cost?

Thank you.

That sounds like a custom job.
Unless you can get your hands on one of the original type units. As they are actually dual trackball units with scroll rings and just one ball removed.

I don't think you can get the new one in as it is a part of the main panel if I'm not mistaken.

After some researches, I have learned that on older MC Pros with two trackballs (pre 2008), you can choose where you want your trackball and jog wheel. You just have to put the ball and wheel cover where you need it. Very convenient, but I doubt the wheel is as good as the weighted one on latest model.

So it confirms what you were saying Eric. You can add a plastic wheel disk on either side on older MC Pros but not on post 2008 MC Pros because the latest MC Pros already have a weighted jogwheel.

Thanks.
