What system version are you using? According to Motu, Mach Five isn't compatible with PT 6.9.2 / OS 10.4.1

Hi,

I,m running 6.9 cs1 mac osx 10.3.8 tdm HD. It works if i leave it alone and do no editing! but as soon as i start to navigate around mack five it keeps quitting and the crash log simply says mack five.

Regards

Chris

try using the RTAS version instead of the HTDM version.

Have you tried the 'General Troubleshooting' steps, especially trashing prefs and databases?

Hi,

Everything else seems to be working good at the moment and i don't want to risk loosing that over 1 plugin, unless i really have to!!

This is the RTAS version by the way

Regards

Chris

I've been a MachFive owner since day 1 and it is the most unstable thing I have ever owned. Great promise, poor execution. I'm looking for a replacement and longing for something simple like SampleCell. All the effects are interesting but for a different user than I.

I wish for multiple outputs per instantiation and easier-to-read interfaces.

I was having the same problems. Are you using a Kensington trackball? I upgraded the drivers for it and now PT with M5 is stable.
