Great thanks for sharing this, I'll look into it, I think it should help - and potentially enlighten me to whats possible with both.

Pro Tools isn't for everybody. Its performance is heavily dependent upon using suitable hardware. There are fewer issues when running PT on a computer that is configured within AVID's guidelines and optimized as recommended. Unfortunately, there is added cost associated with more suitable computers.

Thats not the case,- I've worked in pro tools over the years, alongside and within professional enviroments, its been very hit and miss even on proper HD systems in pro studios. Its worked on very good but basic setups. Its just dependent on where the updates are at at the time. It has many great features, but its had many issues over the years that are very much known. Some fantastic workflow features, its not dictated to by spec of computer. I think its just where it is now, other DAWs are working well at the moment, PT needs to just catchup again like it has done in the past.

Hi there.... I sent you an email to see if I could assist in anyway but didn't hear back. As many can tell you on the forums, my door is always open for the good, bad and ugly...

Hi Marianna,

Thanks for reaching out, I think partly had a headache with initially getting things going but I am there now. I'll let you know if I have any issues. Coming back from Logic after 6 years was a shock but also joy. I have completed my first session in there.
