Default Error Message on PT8 HD Upgrade

So i just wiped my system clean, installed snow leopard, installed PTHD8. I'm getting an error message on start up while creating core audio objects. The error message is DAE Error -1127. Can not find much info in this. Any ideas? I've deleted all prefs etc and uninstalled reinstalled several times and still get the message.

HELP!!!!!

Thanks,

DL

Hi,

I think you're likely looking at a hardware issue!!

If you have process cards or accel cards installed then check the flex cable that connects them to the core card.

check that the flex cable is going from port "B" on the core card to port "A" on the first connected card, and the same from then on... port B to port A on the next card etc. it can seem logical to go from port A to port B but that is wrong it must go from port B on the core card to port A on the first process/accel card and so on.

Also check all other connections to the cards and re-seat the cards in the PCI slots to make sure they are seated right down etc.
