Default DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, then- BSOD

Using a brand-new M-Audio Fast Track with Pro Tools Essentials 8.03. Took many, many tries to install it. Drivers are all updated; site says 8.03 is the most current version available. Re-started computer; double-tapped PT icon- and received this message: "WARNING Loss of Plug-In authorization keys may occur.

This system contains one or more drives(s) formatted with NTFS, which have volume names longer than 11 characters. This combination is known to corrupt some InterLok protected plug-In authorizations. If you know which drives are authorized and they are not configured this way, or if you have no InterLok protected plug-ins, then you may continue. In order to remedy this issue before corruption can occur click "Yes" to quit Pro Tools and rename NTFS volumes to names that are 11 characters or less. Next, re-launch Pro Tools and this dialog should not appear.

Quit Pro Tools?"

I select "No", it starts to load, and I get the BSOD with the following error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I haven't found any info on how I correct that on forums for M-Audio, PT, or even Google! Absolutely ANY suggestions (which don't involve turning off my antivirus-ware or re-formatting my HD) will be gratefully appreciated! Win7/SP1 x64
