Help - Best Reference Manual for Pro Tools LE 8
I purchased Pro Tools LE 8 for my son. He is a beginner and needs an instruction manual. Could someone please advise me as to the best manual for a beginner? Your help is greatly appreciated.

These "help menus" can be remarkably cryptic. I never can find what I'm looking for in a help menu. I always thought of them as some sort of obscure joke pulled by the writers of the menus.

PT 101 from the Digistore or just about anywhere else.
John Keane had a excellent Pro Tools book called Pro Tools for the Musician (Musicians Guide to Pro Tools?)or something like that. You Tube is full of instructional videos. The AIR Users Blog. DigidesignTV Check out Kenny Goias excellent vids at Groove3music. Maybe search Pro Tools at Amazon for more ideas?
