Lo-Fi and Camel Crusher
Lo-Fi has the sample rate reduction effect I'm looking for, but it jumps from 44 to 33 to 22 to 14k, etc. Is there a similar plugin but with a smooth sample rate adjustment? Not a bitcrusher (I think), which make it sound fuzzy. I'm looking for the underwater effect, with a smooth transition to full frequency. I believe it's different than using a LPF. At least Drake's producer "40" says so (2:30).
Is Lo-Fi on PT vanilla the same as Lo_Fi on PT HD? I see screenshots of Lo-Fi with sample rate values I can't seem to get. Btw, anyone have Camel Crusher AAX? According to this, they made an AAX version before going under. |

Re: Lo-Fi and Camel Crusher
Try the Air LoFi plugin included with Pro Tools. From memory, the bit rate and sample rate reduction is variable in finer increments than the Digi LoFi plugin.
FYI - what you're after is indeed called a bit crusher. More accurately, a bit reducer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Lo-Fi and Camel Crusher
You know, I'm so surprised Apple hasn't released Camel Crusher for Logic. That seems a bit of a missed opportunity
