Default iZotope Neutrino

An intriguing freebie from iZotope; the Neutrino Spectral Shaping plug-in. As I understand it, a frequency and/or amplitude dependent dynamic EQ..?

Get it here; https://www.izotope.com/en/products/mix/neutrino.html

Just four basic settings; voice, instrument, bass & drums and two controls; amount and detail.

Tried it a bit on a synth bass, a synth lead and an acoustic drums loop, it does something.., still figuring out just what exactly.

Yeah I tried it on several channels and auxes and I couldn't hear it!

I could hear it the difference in the YouTube vids.

I even read the manual just in case I wasn't using the two knobs correctly?

Maybe it is an emulation of the Bomb Factory Funk Logic Mastererizer?

It's subtle, but definitely audible. I've read comments from several people that say they can't hear it, and I'm surprised.

Some people's ears are less trained to subtle changes that others, it depends on what they do. This plug does change the sound and it is noticeable, perhaps the drum mode is harder to hear because it deals with dynamics more than eq by it does what it says. The bass mode more noticeably changes the character or the eq, and the instrument mode too, I can hear certain lo-fi-ish addition, specially in the last one...

Upd--Another thing is, this plug introduces a lot of latency so any changes take a while to sound.
