Default Checking for Expired/Outdated Plugins

Hi there.

Is there an app or a way to scan all my plugins to see which are compatible and which might need upgrading or are completely expired?

I have downloaded free demos in the past and am certain some of my plugins are no longer functional.

Would like to find a way to scan them all instead of opening each one individually.

Thanks,

Sparky

Thanks Stig Eliassen

I see that it scanned my plugins - and gave me a version number of the plugin.

Does that mean that all my plugins are compatible - and would it tell me after the scanning of the plugins that a plugin was either not compatible or expired?

Thanks,

Sparky

Ah 'fraid not. It's just a list of installed plugins and their version numbers. Somewhat useful but it doesn't check whether there are any updates available.

There was some software that did that for a while but I think they stopped supporting it/updating it. I think the overhead of keeping track of all the manufacturers is too great, shame.

I'm using an app called 'PluginUpdate'. It scans your plugins, lists your current version along with an updated version, if there is one. Support was dropped initially at beginning of yr. But so many peeps complained that they revived it. Its the only app of its kind that I'm aware of.....

Just went to the site and it claims the "PluginUpdate" app has not been updated since 2013... mmmmm?
