Hello Mike,

I had this problem once, a while ago on LE 7.1.
It appeared that the video was an MPEG2. I just converted it to DV using MPEG Streamclip and that worked...

So maybe that will work for you too.

ok so here's the actual file name

DV, 720 x 480 (640 x 480), Millions

it's also in 23.98? thinking that might be the issue.

if i convert the video using QT pro, to 29.97, won't it all be off in layback?

and the file name is .mov

data rate = 23.02 mbits/s

source = /Volumes/itunes : Video/Video/Ben Nurick/Psychic Intervention.mov

any help?

ProTools gives this error when the Quicktime movie file name has slashes in it.

There may be other conditions or characters that cause the error too...

I just discovered this the other day myself - it cost me a half hour figuring it out.
