Re: 6.4 to 6.7 upgrade trouble
A few questions to consider. Did 6.7 ask you to "download firmware"? If not, did your power harness happen to die at this exact moment? If the firmware question popped up, did you click "okay"? If yes, did it finish uploading(about 8-10 minutes without being interupted)? I don't know if this helps. Hopefully someone else may have more to offer.
This is exactly why I ALWAYS do my upgrades by leapfrogging hard drives. Once I have a stable setup, I ghost my system drive to a spare hard drive. Then I swap the spare into the machine and upgrade on that drive. If I have a problem, switch back to the old drive and I am back up and running while I figure out what went wrong. Once a new setup is trouble-free for a month, I will ghost it to the other spare drive. This has paid off twice already and was well worth the $50 for an extra drive.

Re: 6.4 to 6.7 upgrade trouble
So does the updated firmware work on the older versions of PTLE?

Re: 6.4 to 6.7 upgrade trouble
WHen I switched back to 6.4 after running 6.7, it told me I need to download updated firmware. I clicked "okay" and let it do its thing and it ran fine. Did it all over again a few days later when going back to 6.7. So far, all is working good. The problem I had was that using NI guitar rig(on 4 tracks) took a session right to the cpu limit on 6.4. With 6.7 it went red and froze. Turns out guitar rig is a little buggy with 6.7 so I burned audio tracks with GR one at a time so I could remove the plugins.

Re: 6.4 to 6.7 upgrade trouble
Cool, thanx. I was thinking about loading 5.3.1 back on a different computer and running my OO2 on it. That makes me less concerned knowing what to expect.

Re: 6.4 to 6.7 upgrade trouble
Just a silly question... Did you let the Windows Installation Wizard install the new drivers? If so, that's a nono. You have to run the installer from Digi. Ignore if that's not the case (that last gray cell woke up)
