Welcome aboard! There's lots to learn here and lots of help to be had. I suggest spending some time just reading(start with threads that relate to your platform(Windows or Mac) pay attention to the kind of information that helps get the best answers to your questions(and check out the link near the top called Help Us Help You as it explains a lot of stuff you need to be aware of
