Export the markers in a Standard MIDI File.. then import that into a new session which has no existing markers.

I have now tried that, both to just create a blank miditrack and then export to midi. But when I try to import the miditrack to another session I cant click on the file? As it dont recognise it as a midifile? I have also just tried to choose the midifile on "import session data", then it imports but no markers coming. And they dont come after I resize or play. Whats wrong?

Edit:
Ah, solved it, just named the midifile on export to .mid and then pt recognise it, thanx.

I tried importing markers into a new session, which worked fine, but the marker comments in the original session did not come thru to the new one. Is this a bug, user error or is the import functionality not capable of this? Rail? Digi?

Yes, the SMF only holds location markers.
