Default Audio Interface Issues

I just got a focusrite scarlett solo 3rd gen audio interface, but the problem is my speakers or headphones don't connect to it. Before I got the audio interface I used Asio4All to listen to my USB mic through my headphones & speakers. I'm having issues using this new microphone I bought with the audio interface. The interface shows up in asio4all, but I can't hear the microphone when I press the record button.

Default Audio Interface Issues

Why use asio4all? Doesn’t the Scarlett solo come with an appropriate driver? Install the driver and select the interface in the playback engine settings and you should be golden.

But wait....there's more!!! For Windows users(and ASIO4ALL is only for Windows), users should go into Sound Settings and make sure that Windows is NOT using your interface as the "Default Playback Device". Set that to the on-board sound card so Pro Tools isn't fighting with Windows for control of the interface settings(specifically, the sample rate). I also agree with others and would uninstall ASIO4ALL in favor of the Focusrite ASIO driver
