Anyone Had This Automation Problem?
I keep running into the problem of PT having a mind of it's own when it comes to writing level automation.
I'll be in touch, or latch mode for instance, and if a pass has already been made, I'll go to update something and grab the fader, either onscreen with the mouse or with a Command 8 fader and I pull the fader down, for instance, and PT ignores me and the fader onscreen shoots right back to the level already written. I finally end up having to go in the Edit window and draw it myself. I'm in 7.3.1 cs2. 10.4.8 Anyone? Thanks Tom H |

Re: Anyone Had This Automation Problem?
I've experienced unexpected results when in Latch or Touch/Latch mode and the mixing preferences are set to "Allow Latch Prime on Stop" - because you press play and it takes the level or pan position of where it's parked and writes that to the following played section.
