Default Reverb settings

Hello there,

sorry if this is the wrong place for the topic and for the english, I'm from Porto Alegre/Brasil.
I'm the owner of a Control 24 and PT 10 HD and I've been struggling to make my workflow smoother, and my biggest obstacle at this point is, reverb adjustments!

I'm trying to find a way into having the reverb parameters set to a midi device, like the Korg Nano, in order to create some kind of reverb remote, but I'm failing miserably, it's there a way of doing it or it's just impossible and I better stick to the turning knobs of the control 24?

Thx in advance and regards.

It sort of depends on the plugin. Right-click(Option-click) on a knob on the reverb plugin and see if Learn Midi is an option(I know it is on DB-33 as I use a VOCE midi drawbar box to control that). The Novation Nocturn is another possible control solution. Of course, you should be saving your reverb settings as presets too. Does the Control 24 have a plugin mode?

Heya!

Thanks for the reply! Yea, the Control 24 have a plugin mode but it's kinda sluggish and awkward with most reverb plugs, that's why i'm looking for a way into having only the selected controls routed to another MIDI device.

WoW! This Novation Nocturn looks perfect for the job! Does anyone here knows if it works with PT?

Thx

To my knowledge it does. Even the C|8 and 002/003 do. That's part of what still make them advantageous as a PT controller today.

Unfortunately, there is no way to assign external hardware MIDI CC messages to plug-ins in Pro Tools. There are a few AIR VI's that support this, but that's about it. The only other way is to get a supported M-Audio keyboard controller and then set this up in MIDI Controllers peripherals. Your best solution is using your Control 24 for this purpose.
