Default Pt 12.5.2 (spinning wheel when creating tracks)

I have had PT 12.5.1 and 12.5.2 and had the same issues..

I run a fair few aux tracks and VE Pro and instrument tracks.. However when I add new tracks to a busy session.. Which is my template.. I have been getting the spinning wheel for ages.. Sometimes 3 minutes.. Then the tracks add perfectly.. Once they are added.. I can add more tracks straight away without any spinning wheel.. It is only happening if I haven't made any new tracks for a while.. It's really annoying and slows the creative process down a lot! Any help?

I have a 6 core Mac Pro (trashcan). I did fresh install of everything including the new Sierra. Which I never normally do but I made a working clone of Yosemite before I installed.. Everything is running fine so far though!..
