Default First track with the Axe FX II

Howdy folks,

Just got round to recording some stuff with the Axe FX II. It's the first track I'm working on with a new band (a departure from some of my older stuff, for those of you that know me :)).

Clean tone is a deluxe verb model
Dirt is the Lone star model
And some eventide style Crystals, just because

Work in progress

Nice job Adam. I particularly love the clean sounds.

Mix is great too imho.

To be honest, I LOVED the 11R reverb. The cleans were quite nice as well. I don't doubt it could have gotten close. I used a ducking reverb though, so the reverb mix increases as the input decreses. That way I can give the big reverb trail without it being overpowering on the attack. Also, crystals on the lead tone :P The cab block is much more flexible on the Axe FX II (hi/lo pass filters where you'd want them, more cab/combos to find ones that really work, IR if you need it), which has sealed the deal for me regarding the dirt/heavy tones.

Thanks man, this is completely unmixed at present though :P. We're tracking the vocals and bass tomorrow, will put up a proper mix once done, but I am quite happy with the guitar tones at the moment :)
