Download-Links in my user account not working

For example, the following URL times out as unreachable:

Does that link work for anyone else?

Attempts to download drivers from the follow page: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ox-Pro-Drivers
are not working.

One particular example is: http://akmedia.digidesign.com/suppor...81450.dmg?ns=1

Is there a way to alert Avid of this issue?

Welcome to the community, and thanks for reporting this. We've been getting reports like this for about a week now and the problem is intermittent so it's been tough to track down the root cause. We are still working on it.

Okay,

I think I found the solution. I am using Firefox, and something made me think about using Internet Explorer, and that seemed to work, but I haven't downloaded the installer yet. I have to get a bloody Ilok 2 first.

By the way, will Ilok 1 not work at all, or is it just not supported?


Strangely, even though I have "instant email notification" turned on, I didn't get any notification that you guys had all answered!

If you try to place a license that requires an iLok 2 (2nd generation) on an iLok 1 (first generation key style) you get this error

iLokv2 REQUIRED.jpg

So it is not supported and will not work at all for any license that requires the new protocols of an iLok v2.

Sign me up for the list of folks who cannot download Pro Tools. First time user, super pumped to download it and explore...got everything activated and all that jazz....then I click to download it and I get the "Safari can't find server" message. Updated Java, Updated everything you can update, no firewalls in place..etc, etc... tried Google Chrome and Firefox and I can't freaking download it. This is ridiculous.
