Default plugins not showing up in pro tools

Hey everyone. after a long week of pro tools headaches I went out today and bought the brand new mbox 2 pro along with a new mac pro.

Installed pro tools got everything else hooked up and running sweet. then once again fell into a problem. I installed my new plugins, BFD, Amplitube 2 and Ampeg and guess what? They won't show up in pro tools even though i installed them fine. They are all registered and licensed with my ikey so i'm stumped.

Does anyone know what the deal is and how to fix this? Please help.

This is my set up:

Mac pro 1,1 model
Mac osx 10.4.7
2x2.66 ghz dual-core intel xeon processor
1gb ram
pro tools 7.1.3
Mbox 2 pro

Do you have the correct versions of the plugins, and are they prepared/programmed for Intel Mac?

You may want to look again, or email the companies and ask if they have any plugins specific to Intel Mac use

I always make sure the software is up to date before buying new hardware.
From a software developers point of view you might say apple sucks, because they
came up with another switch from ppc to intel.
