Default DAE 7401 - Can\'t find any info so far!

Hi There,

Just working on getting a new laptop going and am encountering a new DAE Error. It's #7401 and I get the following dialog upon trying to add plugins on a track's insert:

"Plugin could not be made active because DAE Error (7401) encountered".

The plugin is then made inactive. So far it's done it with most of my EQ plugs, and the L1. I did a search on the DUC and didn't get any hits on this error. Anybody have some insight? I've got a project due tomorrow and was hoping I could use this new laptop for it.

Here are the specs and info:

PT 7.0 (should i move to 7.1?)
Dell Inspiron 6400
Intel Centrino Duo at 2ghz
2 gigs ram
I've ran PT with 2 processors, and 1 processor with various anounts of CPU usage and buffer settings. Occasionally a reboot or setting change will make the problem disapear but it's only for a few minutes.

Anyone have some ideas?

I found one suggestion there. I'm going to update my ilok drivers and hopefully that will get rid of the error.

In the meantime I actually found a workaround.. If I already have a plugin active that I want to use, rather than opening it on another track I simply drag and copy to the new track. No error! It's just getting the first instance of the plugin to open that's causing frustration.
