(Even PM9600 can do that).
Since 1985-2011 4:3 era, I´m trying to live with 16:9 picture of PT|5.1. ...sizes, waveforms, menus...

sorry, I still don't understand
did you have a (lets say 20") 4:3 and then get a 20" 16:9 or 16:10 (unless is 1080p it is 16:10 no 16:9)
yes the text would be smaller

our migration was from:
4:3: 17" CRT
to
4:3 18" LCD
to
16:10 20" 1050 ACD 8 years ago
to
16:10 24" 1200 HP 2 years ago

Hi Craig F.
I have had a Hitachi 21” 4:3 Monitor from 1995 to 2011, when its reparation would cost more than a new one. I started with 24” 16:9 & then switched to 22” LED that fitted exactly in the hole that is 55cm wide. It has 4:3 mode that does not help. Are you working on PT|5.1.3 or 6.4?

Something is not right here. I went from a 1024x768 monitor to a 1680x1050 monitor when I had PT 5.1.3 and everything looked the same, the only difference was the amount of space on the desktop. None of the windows "stretched" the text as far as I can remember.

What might be going on is you are choosing a resolution that is not the ideal resolution for your display. I know I could set my 1680x1050 display to 1025x768, but it looked like crap.
