Default c24 + 003R = Analog Mixing using outboard hardware

Hi.
I'm interested in c24 and I would like to know if its possible to do mixing/mastering with my outboard hardware instead of using plugins in Pro Tools LE. And explain how to connect all my hardware to c24 and daw and then use for example my lexicon for adding later reverb in selected channel in PT or compression with my 1176 without having to screw around with cables and stuff?

I'm more analog guy then digital so this is very important to me.

Hardware I got:

Daw:
MacPro MA970zh/a Intel-QuadCore Xeon 2x2.8GHz 2048MB 320GB
Digidesign 003R
Pro Tools LE

Mics:
Neumann U87 (vintage)
Neumann U47 FET
AKG C414 B-XLII
Peluso 22 47LE

Preamps:
Neve 1073 DPA
SSL X LOGIC ALPHA CHANNEL
Focusrite ISA 430MKII

Compressors/EQ:
Universal Audio 1176LN
Universal Audio LA2-A
DBX 160A (x2)
Distressors (x2)
DRAWMER DS201 (2)
RUPERT NEVE DESIGNS PORTICO 5042 Tape emulator
TUBE-TECH PE1C

Effect Processors:
Eventide H7600
Lexicon PCM 81
Lexicon PCM 91
TC ELECTRONIC D-TWO
TC ELECTRONIC M-ONE XL

AD/DA Converter:
Apogee Rosetta 800

Monitoring:
FOCAL SOLO 6 BE
Yamaha NS10M
Crane Song Avocet

Synths/Samplers
AKAI MPC 2500
Roland JUNO-G
Korg MicroKorg
MOOG VOYAGER LUNAR CHERRY

Power Supply:
Furman Furman PL-8C E

It's all about your hardware I/O's.
A 003 will give you 6 inserts and 2 out for monitoring...Or 6 sends and 8 returns.
A C/24 is a controller. It does give you access to 16 mic/line inputs but if your hardware I/O only has 8 in then that's what you get.

Mine is set up with 24 in/out (2 192's) and 24 outboard preamps.
Works well for tracking and mixing.

PPC MAc PT8cs3 OS 10.5.8
HD3 24x24 analog
Remote preamps x 24

Ok.
Then what about conversion ? If i route signal from PT to some of my outboard via I/O im basicly skiping my converter ?
Sorry , im very lost at the moment, im still setting my new studio...Would love if somebody could explain how to setup all my hardware and use it easliy with computer. Can't wait to get my c24..
Also I will need patchbay ? And should i upgrade to PTHD considering that i wont be using any plugins.
Thanks.

A patchbay will be very helpful for your situation. (which unfortunately requires 'having to screw around with cables and stuff')

All of your routing will be done within the software and at the 003 level.
The 003 will convert your signal to analog. Patch in your outboard device, patch back in to the 003 (this goes back through the converters).

The Control24 will give you options for routing the various outputs of the 003 to your monitors , headphones, etc. (more cables and stuff)

Upgrading to PTHD because you're not using plugins is probably not the best reason to upgrade. But if you require any of the features of PTHD that PTLE doesn't have, that would be a better reason.
