Procontrol Or Control 24?

I am trying to build my project studio piece by piece, hopefully I shall be able to do all the trackng and mixing within Protools finally (w/ some decent outboard of course. Currently, I am running a PT Mix-plus (w/2 farm card and lots of plug-ins) and Yamaha 02r (for monitoring only during arrangment). Putting the instument aside, my another outboard included Penedulum MDP-1, Focusrite Red6 Pre+ EQ, Crangsong Hedd-192, Apogee AD8000.
BBE 882, Ensoniq DP/4, finalizer,and a few Roland reverbs and delays. Rightnow, I still do most of my dubbing and Mixing at Studio. I am starting to buy gear with my future project studio in mind.

What would you choose between Procontrol and Control 24? and why?
Would the money be better spend on Control24 and some outboards. Or would you choose procontrol because of it is expandable.

Pls share your thoughts and experience?

I just recently bought a control24 and love it. I got the C24 and an Avalon 2022 for less than the Pro Control. I believe the only real compelling reason for picking the Pro Control over C24 would be if you were doing alot of Post. Otherwise can't see you going wrong with the C24

the only reason i won't buy the control 24 when i jump to TDM is cause i like the pre's i have and don't feel the need to buy 16 new ones

The feel and the faders of procontrol are vastly superior for professional work, music or post. But the C24 is a serious alternative that I would recommend to anyone who has the space for it and has never had a control surface before (or who has never worked on an ssl before...). It rocks.
