I just sent a bunch of .dlog files to Avid after running some tests with different scenarios. They don't seem to know what it is.... I'm glad more people are popping up with the error to see if we figure it out...

Fwiw, I have noticed that when I'm just doing some rough editing at a coffee shop, disconnected from my MBox mini 3rd gen, I never get this error. There may be something to the fact that this error is related to the latest MBox mini driver.

After many tests, the culprit is definitely the mbox mini. No mbox mini connected = no error ... AVID please fix the drivers!!

Did you guys buy new computers? I'm just wondering why so many are on El Cap. Even Logic Pro X warns that there are incompatibility issues much of the software and hardware that is commonly in use!

I'm having enough troubles with 12.4 on Yosemite.

Yep, new iMac ... everything else working fine though; just this annoying error with the mbox mini. Using VE Pro 5, Eastwest and Native Instruments stuff, etc and no problems with anything else...

For the record, 12.5 update does not fix this. Just got the error after updating. Definitely need an MBox Mini 3rd Gen driver update.

Pro Tools 12.5

Mac OSX 10.11.3

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

WaveShell 9.3

MBox Mini 3rd Gen

One additional note...I'm finding that if I completely turn off wi-fi and bluetooth on my MBP, the amount of AAE error 536870192 is dramatically reduced. Not a fantastic solution, but something worth noting for troubleshooting, if Avid ever looks at this thread.
