Default Mbox Mini 3 causing Windows 10 to crash whenever plugged in.

I keep getting a BSOD screen with this error message: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (AvidMboxMini.sys)

I've tried reinstalling, repairing, etc. No luck. Anyone know of any fixes?

I understand that Windows 10 is not yet supported, was hoping there to be a fix though.

Is Windows 10 supposed to be coming any time soon?

Thanks.

What driver and version of Pro Tools? Have you tried other USB ports?(traditionally, the ports nearest the mouse/keyboard ports are preferred, but I would try any/all). Also, if you are on a new machine, maybe it only has USB3 ports?(they have blue plastic inside which can be seen). If so, you might have luck with a PCIe card that has USB2 ports(but you are in uncharted territory). Maybe if we could see the machine specs....

I have the same problem as well on my Windows 7.
What I find strange is that the driver provided by Avid ALWAYS crash. When you let windows update install the driver for you, I don't get any BSOD.

Tried running Windows driver verifier, and can conclude that the driver from avid is bad. I have also tried every USB slots, and all drivers are updated (including BIOS). WiFi is turned off and PT11 is set to "run as administrator". Still the same, and BSOD.

The downside is that pro tools does not recognize the audio interface, unless you install the "bad" driver from avid.

Any suggestion people?
