Default What Pro Tools Book is the best?

Hey everyone!
I'm looking into buying a Pro Tools book but I'm unsure which one is best. I'm not a newbie to recording but have not been using Pro Tools LE for all that long and would like to learn as much as I can about the more advanced features of Pro Tools.

I have the Digi 002 rack if anyone was wondering, and I thought I'd post the question to everyone here at the forums. What is the latest book that is best for learning the more advanced features of Pro Tools?

Thanks in advanced,
sonicpaint

Do a search of the boards, you'll find plenty of posts on that subject.

I bought 2 books and I like them both alot.
1. Producing in the Home Studio with Pro Tools 2nd Ed. by David Franz
2. Pro Tools 6 for mac & windows Visual Quickstart Guide by Steven Roback.

Both are really good books and I,ve learned alot in a week. Im a newbie as well. The first book I got a Guitar Center for about 30.00 and the 2nd at Borders for 21.95

Thanks to all who posted, I appreciate it. I have decided to go with Pro Tools 6 for Mac And Windows though I think I might get the other on later on. I've been going through the PDF manual that came with Pro Tools but it's a pain to only be able to reference it on the computer. I was thinking of getting it printed out at a local print shop.

I've learned some great editing tricks like "tab to transient, multiple cross-fades, grid plotting, tap tempo and many shortcut key commands" and others, though I want to learn more. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want to master Pro Tools so I know how to do just about everything that I could ever need to do.

Thanks again,
sonicpaint

I just wish my MBOX came with some sort of tutorial for the bundled SW, Reason, Live, etc. Im not sure how to use them in PT. Do I just make a track and plugin Reason then open reason and play?

You should be able to get some info or documentation from those company's websites, no? I didn't get that package because I bought my Digi 002 a month or so before they added that package.(which sucks big time). All I got was the regular LE plug-ins that comes with the windows based version of the software, and that isn't all that much. I still love my Pro Tools system but it would have been nice to have had those extra plug-ins/tools.

later,

Yeah, I hear that with the plug-in bundle! I use the T-racks EQ, and the Amplitube a lot, but the others are useless to me - not because they're bad, but because i have no idea what to do with them. I went from 4-track, to cool edit pro on PC, to mbox. Pro Tools is a pretty big step up from Cool Edit, and from splicing tape. I checked the websites, and I couldn't find anything on them either
