Default Protools won\'t start up
Hello, I have just changed my computer from a pc to mac, just installed pro tools 7.1 and every time I try to open it I am asked to restart the computer. Can't understand this.

It is a Mac Book, 1Gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 1.83Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Prosessor. Using a Digi 002.

Don't Know what I have done wrong. Can somebody help me Please??????

Oh Yeah its OS 10.4.8, not the same as the guy posting below with the same problem.

hmmm...so no bouncing and stop, it actually asks you to restart. Have you tried to reinstall pro tools? Of course you'd have to uninstall first. WHat have you tried so far? I think something has loaded incorrectly and needs to be refreshed.

Hey, it bounces for a little then askes for the computer to be restarted, Yes I hav uninstalled it and reinstalled it. still to no avail, Do I have to have an I-Lok to do boot it up the first time?? Haven't got it here. I also looked at the help thread, and could'nt seem to see any DAE files to delete. bit baffled really!!

update to PT 7.1.1. 7.1 is not for intel macs.

Hopefully not too stupid a question, but would I better off upgrading to 7.3???? I'm thinkin ye, but not sure.
