Automation Not Writing
I had this problem on PT9 and it's reappeared on PT10. If i select auto write and try and place some mutes in during playback it just will not write. I have to go back and draw it in. It's a real pain in the ass.
I've trashed preferences plenty of times between it first happening and now but it doesn't seem to help. It's hard to say when it does and doesn't happen as it seems to be completely random. |

Re: Automation Not Writing
In most cases it makes sense not to write the mute automation in the first step, is it possible, that it's disabled per default in the automation enable window?

Re: Automation Not Writing
i'm not sure I understand what you mean about it making sense not to write automation. I'm pretty sure its not disabled by default because it does work some of the time.
All i want to do is be able to hit mute etc during playback, when it's selected auto write, and have pro tools save those mute points. But it just doesn't do it |
