[QUOTE=kw88keys;2500204Well...I updated my NVidia driver and still get the problem as described above from the original post. I assume at this point that this is associated with Windows 7 which I want to stay with. Went back to 2018.4 and all works well. Staying with this for now.[/QUOTE]

Yes, 2018.4 is the last one that is compatible with Win7. I'm going to go ahead and step up to Win10, even though I hate to, because 2018.7 is just brilliant. It's a milestone for PT software, in my opinion.

The problems described with 2018.7 are not isolated to Win7. Both of my setups are Win10.

Revisiting this glitch. Has anyone updated to 2018.10 to see if this has solved the problem?

I just installed 2018.10, and did a quick test. Does not appear to have fixed any of these problems.

Windows 10 64 bit Build 17134.

Really need them to sort this stuff out. These bugs make working in PT very challenging, especially the lack of a visual numeric display when altering autotmation. Switching back to being exclusively Cubase might have to be in my near future.

I'm running an older build and not I'm getting the same problems and my gfx card is an 970 so its almost identical to yours. I know right now that a lot of windows users with intel onboard graphics are having some pretty problematic graphics issues due to the recent win update and some were able to solve it by manually fethcing and installing the intel drivers.

SO I updated to 2018.10 and still experience this with Windows 7. I assume at this point that this is not considered an error and just a byproduct of retaining Windows 7. As posted in the quote above - back to 2018.4

Have you had any luck with this? I'm getting the EXACT same issues as you. Windows 10.

PT 18.12.0

NVIDEA GTX 750Ti

intel i7

Trashed all pt prefs. This happens in all my sessions, but if I copy a session and transport it to a different machine the problem doesn't follow the session. Device manager says all my drivers are current. Pulling my hair out.

There is a configuration issue or another piece of software running that is causing PT to act like this. Far too many people have no issues like this whatsoever. Do you have the bios configured properly, possible anti virus or other background running software??
