Default Missing Files For 11.1.3 For Windows?

Tried installing this on my laptop recently and it kept asking me to confirm the existence of what I estimate to be 100's of missing .pdf, .js, etc files. Must I re-download the same installer, or is this due to an oversight on Avid's part? If so, will this be rectified soon?

Pro Tools 11.1.3 is a full installer. What is the exact message it's asking you?

That sounds like the original installer file that turned out to be corrupt and was withdrawn.

It does sound like that could be the issue.

The way to tell if you have the older installer download is if it is named this:
Pro_Tools_11_1_3_Win_81810.zip

The newer one in user Avid accounts is this:
Pro_Tools_11_1_3_Win_81869.zip

Hi Bruce. I am using the newer installer version. I get 2 dialogue boxes that I'm unsure how to respond to (see pics).

MissingFile.jpg

The missing file request asks for hundreds of files in this manner. Not just .pdf ones, but .js(?) ones and some other types too.

Thanks for the info. What version of Windows are you using?

Those look like some really long file names. Could this be related to the old "must install from the root location" problem? Have you tried moving the installation to the root of the C drive and installing from there? Just a shot in the dark?

Are you installing PT on the main C(system) drive? Only use the default file paths of the installer. I recommend you post us a Sandra report so we can better evaluate your system:

My hardware overview. Modest as you can see. I tried moving the installer file to the root directory but this made no difference. Thanks for the suggestion though. The installer doesn't actually ask me to specify a directory to install to at any point. It just directs me to click install when ready.
