Slip edit in pro tools?
Hi All,
I have extensive experience of editing on Avid systems, but I am currently trying out Pro Tools Le for tracklaying and sound editing and there is one Avid editing option that I really miss and am not sure if there is some way of performing it in pro tools as well. It is the slip trim: a trim in which the clip does not actually move in the timeline nor does its duration, but you move earlier or later in the clip. Any way of doing this in pro tools other then extending the out point, trimming the in point and then moving the region? Thanks a lot in advance. Aleks |

Re: Slip edit in pro tools?
BTW,
If you're trying to do a slip / rolling edit, for Pro Tools 12... 1. Select the clip 2. On the Edit Window Toolbar, set the Nudge value as needed, 1 frame etc. 3. Hold down the Windows / Option key 4. Slip / Roll the clip inside the selection with the number pad + and - Done. |
