Default WAV file format

IS the WAV file generated by PTF PCM format or ADPCM format ? Is there a way to set it to generate PCM format ? Reason is : I am using Nero CD-buring software and Nero does not accept WAV files generated by PTF.

Any suggestions ??

Thanks !

Default Re: WAV file format

it is common PCM-format.
the PT-wave-file simply contains a lot more information than a "normal" one. but every application that regards the wave-standard should be able to read it anyway.

so perhaps you take a look at a little tool I wrote to process audiofiles. besides other purposes it can be used to remove all the additional information leaving just the wave-header and the sampledata. info and download: http://www.leipzig.primacom.net/gues...t/digiconv.htm

when you're unsure about the appropriate settings just ask again.

If you have another audio programm s.a. Wavelab, Cubase etc., open the wav´s and re-save it again.
I think that the wav will get a new header.

What kind of wav did you make? Did you bounce to an interleaved stereo file or stereo split?

Do it interleaved...
