d24 in a magma PCMCIA expansion Chassis
hi,
i know it is not officially supportet, but did anybody tried to make this work? i have a mixfarm from my recent upgrade left an before i give it away on ebay i try to find something more usefull. so i think about purchasing an old d24 put my mixcard next to it and use it for siomle live recordings and some plugs. all comments welcome cheers from the mixfarm |

If you have the right Powerbook/OS/PT version, you should have no problem. I used to run a Mix system with a G4/500 Titanium, Magma 2-slot (with scsi accelerator) and easily got 32 tracks with lots of edits. Make sure that it all used to be compatible, and you should be good to go.

I had a d24 and 2 dsp farms in a CB4QT using a PB G4ti 400 and a G4 400 for about two years.
