Default Hard Drive Partitioning

I am setting up a PC Digi001 system with 2 Hard drives. 1st one will have the OS on it the 2nd one for all the recorded audio. The 2nd drive is 20G. Is it better to leave it as one large partition or break it up into a number of smaller ones?
thanks for any advice.
