Go to the MP3 codec folder and chuck the codec in the bin.
Re-install the MP3 option from the Pro Tools DVD/download installer - just 'check' the MP3 install option and don't reinstall anything else. Now you should have the authorisation option again (when you try to bounce) and can choose between serial number or an ilok to authorise.

i was getting a demo expired message when trying to bounce to mp3 and it turns out i didn't even have mp3 option installed. i found the installer here http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...&categoryid=34 and it's working now.
