Default More than one SCSI card?

I am using a Adaptec 2930B in my machine and was wondering if i could install a second faster Adaptec SCSI card in the same machine. Also, would there be any complications of putting it into a Bit 3 PCI expander instead of my computer.

Thanks,
Mike
