Re: Cd Burning speeds
yer kiddin' right??
ALL glass master CD's are burned at 1X... With my own tests, I notice a huge difference between 1x-2x-4X... I will always burn at 1X for the very finest sound quality......

Re: Cd Burning speeds
I read in several places that the faster you burn, the better the results?

Re: Cd Burning speeds
Parphrased from page 65 of the MLCD manual:
-When using Direct Mode (aka: the Write CD window), write speeds of 4x and 2x can create CD's with a drastically less tendency for errors. -Although it makes no mention of it, I assume that this is in relation to writing a CD in real time. -As of the writing of this manual (MLCD v2.0) 4x was the highest speed MLCD supported. If I assume (again) correctly, you should always burn at the fastest speed which your CD Recorder and/or media can support. Brent |
