Default moving all the clips!

Hello,

I am working on a project with 40+ tracks and 22 mins of work. I would like to know if there is a easier way to move every clip on every track from a certain point down further in the timeline or earlier.

thanks

There are a few ways to do this. Personally I would;
1- select al the tracks & make them an edit group. ( now they'll all move together)..
2. Place the play head/ cursor at the point you want them to start from.
3- holding down shift & click on your regions (any track) with the grabber tool.

It seems to only move the all the tracks within the length of the clip I selected. I want to move every clip on every track all the way to the end of the time line from my current selection

Use the default All group. If you can't see the group pane in the edit window click the arrow in the lower left hand corner. The group pane is the lower quadrant. Selected All then all tracks are linked.

Also note there is "Automation Follows Edit" button (Under the Hand Grabber).

Please use 'move song start'.

You can move the start of the song to say bar 45, or a time marker, depending on how you are working.
