Audio regions "moved" after recording
Hi all,
This is my first post, but I've coming to/reading these forums for a long time. The studio I work at just made the switch to PT9 HD/Snow Leopard (10.6.6). We were running a background vocal session yesterday when we encountered this problem: During recording, everything seemed fine- vocals sounded in time, and the singer wasn't hearing any noticeable latency in her headphones. After recording, the new vocals suddenly sounded out of time, and upon closer examination, appeared to be "rushed" on the timeline. Pro Tools reported that the regions were in fact at their original timestamps. We'd previously run 2 recording sessions without this occurring. We're on an 8-core MacPro (early 2008), PT 9.0.1 HD Accel, OS X 10.6.6. Has anyone else experienced, or heard anything about this? Thanks! |

Re: Audio regions "moved" after recording
funny, just with some home tracks that I'm mixing I had to go and shift the vocal take for the same reason: a shade off ... I thought was nuts ...
