Default Group Stereo Width in Stereo AFL Mode

Hi
While adjusting the audio group stereo width, I can't hear the changes while solo AFL stereo mode is active. It remains in full stereo. Doing the same listening the stereo bus I can hear the width adjustements. Is there anything I do wrong?
Thanks for help!
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

If I recall correctly this is a limitation of the solo bus - it picks off the AFL feed before the stereo width control.

Sheldon
Is there any chance this issue (bug) will be solved within a future update? We do broadcast mixing/recording and do use it quite a lot.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

We'll look into it again, but no guarantees it can be resolved. It's a limitation of the internal DSP routing, and I don't expect that much has changed since the original implementation. One workaround in the meantime wold be to use an unused stereo matrix (PQ) as a confidence check: route the audio groups in question to the PQ, and then AFL the PQ. I haven't checked this on a console, but I expect it will work.
