Tab to transient is not working properly still, since 12

I’ve searched the forums a few times but most threads just fizzle out so let’s get to work!

Tab to transient has been giving me grief for a few years and it may be getting worse. It’s just simply not accurate. I’m having to manually move way too many samples. The biggest culprit is it coming up short. It renders macros like batch commander and audio hot keys basically useless, I’m having to dive in manually and move samples into place. When trying to get a fat consistent snare or kick even the smallest inconsistencies can throw it off and many of these are beyond small. Editing is fine because I’m usually zoomed in enough to make appropriate adjustments, and BD seems to work well still for the most part. My business partner (2012 iMac i7 32gb ram pro tools 12.6) and I can’t be the only ones with this issue, what the hell????
