DigiRewire Plugin Crashes Protools on start up

The DigiReWire plugin will crash Protools on bootup unless it's removed. This happened to me when I upgraded to 7.4.2 and is doing it again on PT8. Not a big deal since I don't use it but thought I would make you (Digi) aware.

When I load up Protools, it goes though everything and crashes at the moment it starts loading DigiReWire.dpm.

Apple Quad G5 2.5
4GBs Ram
10.5.6 OS

IDENTICAL problem here in Pro Tools 8. I also have the same exact computer as the original poster... (only I have 10.5 gb of ram). The thing is, I USE rewire all the time so I need to figure out how to solve this.

Please be sure you've updated any existing versions of Celemony Melodyne to Leopard compatible versions. If you once had Melodyne but removed it, or just want a quick fix without downloading any updates go to this directory:
/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire
and delete any files that contain Melodyne in their filename.

That solved it! STUPID Melodyne! I've had this issue for ages even with Garage Band! Thanks!

Ah, fixed the problem perfectly! I don't even know how Melodyne files got on my computer; I've never used it before. Does this mean Melodyne is completely incompatible with Pro Tools 8.0? Thank you very much.
